The Anatomy of Impact

If the impact of your expression is that it touches two people… then you must be content with those two. You never know if those two may touch tens of thousands because of your impact on them.. and even if they don’t touch tens of thousands, two is worth the celebration

You’re going to be found in so much peace just allowing God to shape the sound that you present to the world.

The word “world” here has nothing to do with you reaching the entirety (or even a solid 6-7%) of the population. It has more so to do with you releasing to that specific set of people that have been predestined to be impacted by your sound.

Your sound has a specific set of people attached to it. Make peace with that.

Surely God doesn’t make mistakes.

Some of the greats have passed on and their impact is still being felt by those born decades after their departure. You don’t have to see the impact in order for it to matter. Just do what you’re supposed to do while you’ve still got some time to do it.

The songwriters of the past can’t make the music or go on the tours or get the stage time to accept the awards BUT THEIR SOUND STILL RESONATES throughout time. Still your anxiety about who’s not listening to what you present. There’s still a people yet to be born that will benefit from your submission to the purpose you’ve been set out to accomplish.

By God’s design you shall live and see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

But also by God’s design you shall die and leave an inheritance for your offspring. Also by God’s design you shall die and leave a legacy for so many to benefit from.

There’s not a place in your life that you should stop seeking God about. Especially the thing you were born to present to the world (the percentage of the population you were called to have some type of impact on).
